Northwest Biofuels Association Seeks PFOD Expertise

The Northwest Biofuels Association invited PFOD to speak at their first Brown Grease to Biofuels Stakeholder Meeting in Vancouver, WA. PFOD participated by conference call, with the kind onsite assistance of EPA’s Deborah Taevs. The workshop brought together area trap grease haulers, government agencies, and biodiesel producers to discuss opportunities for converting brown grease into biodiesel. Unheard of several years ago, the growing frequency of meetings addressing the use of trap grease for biodiesel is a signal of the growing market awareness and interest.
